Enjoy the Country Air

Driving home from the hustle and bustle of the city to a nice, quiet country atmosphere is a blessing some people never experience. If you ever get the chance to take a laidback drive to the country, I highly recommend taking it. After taking an easy drive, you may even decide upon looking into country living for you and your family. If you find the desire to move out into the country, I am here to help.

Country living gives you an amazing quality of life, rather different in comparison to city living. For those with children, great schools is typically important when picking a new home. I work a lot in the East Central and La Vernia School Districts. These country schools have the lovely aspect of not being too far from big city San Antonio. They offer FFA programs, where kids get to take part in raising farm animals and growing crops. In these programs, the schools and town are all deeply involved in the Rodeo, everyone gathering to support the kids in FFA and looking to have an all around good time at the Rodeo.

Small town schools are also unique in the sense of supporting the hometown teams. In La Vernia, all local businesses rally to support the beloved LV Bears football team, each business decorating their windows blue and white during Homecoming week. At each stadium in La Vernia and in the surrounding areas, the stands are full with true hometown pride. There is rarely an empty seat, as family members and all of the students themselves gather each Friday night to cheer on their athletic team. While at the game, you will find yourself sitting between your neighbor and your local realtor, as in small towns, everyone knows everyone. That is the beauty of small town living, you always know you have a friend nearby wherever you go.

Until next time,

Cynthia
